WHITSUNDAY WINTER TRIP

001. Sharing a few photos from some moments captured on 35mm over winter 2024 … My heart was feeling heavy and stuck in Brisbane, so I took some time out for my soul to get salty, sandy and sun drenched by heading north. This is was just a little ‘tropical taster trip’ compared to past escapades- stopping and staying with my sister in Bowen, and spending some time hiking around Airlie.

002. I love the tropics- and North Queensland in Winter is the best place to be in my opinion- so whenever I am there at that time of year, I am very grateful. Always thinking and reflecting on how lucky I am to be here… a country with icy winds and snow at one end, while it’s a tropical dream at the other. Who needs to go overseas for a trip when your backyard is this big?!
