DIGITAL DOWNLOAD: CYCLE SYNC
001. VERY excited to finally launch a print that I’ve been working on and holding close to my heart for little while ... the ‘sync my cycle’ digital download poster - a a visually engaging infographic of the menstrual cycle with lifestyle tips for each stage.
002. Because I am now a qualified bachelor degree graphic designer… this isn’t your everyday single page PDF download! I like to go above and beyond - offering a digital product that feels really well done, well presented and well executed. The cycle sync digital download file includes 4 x pdf variations of the print including … 1 x full colour PDF (for at home/ simple copies), 1 x full colour with printers marks PDF (for professional printers use to order copies), 1 x black + white PDF (for colouring in variation) and 1 x full colour with paper texture PDF (for digital use only! - use as wallpaper etc. on ipad with yummy paper texture that makes it feel like you got it printed).
003. Disclaimer … I am a graphic designer and photographer, not a qualified health professional. However, as a neuro-spicy human with a diagnosis of PMDD, I’ve spent months researching and compiling information from trusted health professional sources. This poster is the result of that research—carefully double checked and cross referenced to ensure accuracy. My goal is to present this complex information in an accessible, easy-to-understand format, while also making it visually engaging. Please note, the science and insights shared here are based on reputable resources, not my own expertise.
004. Artist Statement: “Inspired by the moon and the wild, raw feminine energy of nature, this illustration merges witchy aesthetics with scientific knowledge, using illustration as a conduit for both. The work explores the cyclical nature of the menstrual cycle, symbolised not only through colour, but also by the four phases of the feminine body, each supported by an Australian spirit animal that embodies the energy of that stage. The Winter Woman, in deep blues, sheds her inner layers, accompanied by a snake—a symbol of transformation and renewal. The Spring Woman, dressed in vibrant greens, dances with vitality, her spirit uplifted by a kookaburra, whose laughter echoes the seasons energy of new beginnings. The Summer Woman, radiant in golden tones, glows with self-love and confidence, her spirit mirrored by a platypus, embracing the flow and harmony of the season. Finally, the Autumn Woman, grounded in deep purples, embodies introspection and resilience, with a wombat by her side—a symbol of strength. I created this piece as a personal reminder, something I could frame and hang in my kitchen—a tool to guide and support me through each phase of my cycle. By sharing this offering as a digital download, I hope it can reach anyone who needs to tap into their own feminine magic, empowering them to embrace each stage of their journey with grace and self-awareness.”
